Tsuruta wrestled for the prestigious All Japan Pro Wrestling promotion, where he achieved immense success. He was a multiple-time World Heavyweight Champion and had memorable feuds with other legendary wrestlers, such as Genichiro Tenryu and Giant Baba.
Known for his technical skill, strength, and versatility in the ring, Jumbo Tsuruta was a fan favorite and a major draw for All Japan Pro Wrestling during his career. He also wrestled in the United States for promotions like the American Wrestling Association (AWA) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
